Our vision is to give people across our county access to Jesus. This means we use different spaces at different times for our meetings.

Church meets on Sundays at the lovely Rosewell Steading Community Centre. Our service starts at 3pm and lasts about an hour. Arrive any time from 2.30pm and grab a coffee first!

At the service we hear the gospel story re-told to remind us of who God is and what He’s done for us. The service has form but is quite informal. You don’t have to dress up - just come as you are.

Midweek.

We meet in small groups to read and study the bible, learn how to pray to God, and have a good catch up. Once a fortnight we do a gathered meeting. This alternates with a range of small house groups. If you’d like to find out more email: ask@eskvalleychurch.org

Shoots/Fruits

We have lots of youngsters! Feel free to bring all ages, and they can either stay with you in the service, or join one of our kids’ church groups that leave for their own fun and engaging teaching half-way through the main gathering.

  • For babies and toddlers from the age of 1 to 3 years old.

  • This is our bible study class for 3 years to around P2 (6/7 years old). We follow the X curriculum and each lesson consists of a bible reading, teaching, singing and a craft.

  • For P2 (6/7 years old or reading age) up to P7. During this class we read the bible, pray, give the opportunity to ‘ask big questions’, we normally have an accompanying task for the passage we study. After all that hard work we always have time for some games!

  • This is P7+ and is our teen group. During these classes our teens study the bible together, discuss the passage and have time to study and explore the topics while we align the passage to the daily challenges that our teenagers face.

mainly music

Cost: £3 per family

mainly music is a music based group for pre-school aged children and their parents/carers. It costs £3 per session and runs in blocks of 6-8 weeks. Each session consist of 30 minutes of structured music, song and rhyme followed by upto 1 hour of "eat/play/chat".

Community

We organise events throughout the year to help us hang out together. These are also good things to come to with a friend if you’d like to meet more of the church family. Our events range from family fun in the park, to quiz nights, walks and our annual wreath-making evening for when the nights are drawing in. All are welcome!
