Good news.

It’s God’s good news about His rescue plan for our broken and troubled world.

Because of His great love, God sent His Son Jesus into the world to redeem and restore us. Jesus lived the life none of us are able to, and died for us in the ultimate act of self-sacrifice. Believing this message means we are forgiven all we may have done wrong, and welcomed into God's family of faith. We're also given a new identity, calling and hope - what Jesus calls 'life to the full' in John's gospel chapter 10.

This 'good news' is woven through everything we’re about as a family of faith, and you can find out more at any of our Sunday services, or our small group gatherings. We believe humans were made to know this good news, and we’d love to share it with you. If you’d like to know more about the church or have a question, please email us admin@eskvalleychurch.org

Our story.

Esk Valley Church was planted by St Columba’s Free Church of Scotland to bring the good news of Jesus within easy reach of people all across Midlothian. We started out with three families and, with God’s help, we’ve grown to a group of about 100 people.

Our church is made up of ordinary folk coming together to follow Jesus Christ. We’re so thankful for our growth but we know there are still so many people across the towns and villages in our beautiful county who don’t yet know Jesus, so our work continues. We want our small church to have a big regional impact. We’d love you to join and be a part of it.

We are part of the Free Church of Scotland and we partner with the Redeemer City to City church planting network.
